No. VVS Nigeria welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds β€” veterans, civilians, students, professionals, and retirees. What matters most is your commitment to serving others.

Volunteer roles are unpaid. However, volunteers receive official certificates, references, training, and may be eligible for travel and meal allowances on certain deployments.

Time commitments vary by role β€” from a few hours on weekends to part-time weekday engagements. Each opportunity listing clearly states the expected time commitment.

Yes. All volunteers attend a mandatory orientation session and receive role-specific training before deployment. Ongoing support is provided by your zone coordinator throughout your service.

Some roles such as the Scholarship Program Coordinator and digital communications positions can be done remotely. Most community and health roles require physical presence in-state.

After submitting your application, you will receive a response within 5–7 working days. Successful applicants will be invited to an orientation session within 2 weeks of acceptance.
